Sword Art Online slashes to No. 1 in Japan

Namco's Sword Art Online outsells the next three games in the chart combined, storming in at the top spot of Media Create's latest chart. With BlazBlue kicking and punching its way in at No. 7 as a slightly delayed Vita release, and with Super Robot Wars sticking around at No. 8, things look pretty happy for the Vita.

Hardware sales get a decent boost with just under 5,000 more units sold than last week's recent low. Hopefully the green line will rocket up as Golden Week sales kick in across Japan. Perhaps the PS4 and Vita TV firmware update will help goose sales of Sony's little box next week to support the Vita effort?
