Amazon Japan has put up a page for "@field", a new Sega golf game featuring lots of ladies and very little grass. It looks more Space Channel 5 than Tiger Woods, and that's probably not a bad thing. Gameplay is mission-based rather than over 18-holes and the girls can be dressed up and accessorized, a nod to Hot Shots Golf.
With a neat pink logo and lower-end pricing, this could well be the start of Sony and its partner developer's attempts to woo female gamers over to the PS Vita. Something essential if the device is to thrive in the phone-heavy, social gaming market place.
