Android 3.0 Joins in the mobile gaming fun, could tablets threaten PSP2?

Today saw Google launch its Android 3.0 OS for a herd of upcoming tablet phones/devices. Aside from catching up with features that Apple's iOS already has, and some neat 3D interface tricks for the front end, there wasn't much great on show. However, Electronic Arts were on hand to demonstrate Midtown Madness and strategy title, Total War.

While that's not a massive statement of intent, it shows that all publishers are looking across a range of platforms and devices to push their wares on. So, PSP2 won't only have the 3DS to worry about when it launches but both Android 3.0-powered tablets and iPad2 powered games could also be a threat.
